Coastside Gives brings the Coastside together as one community, raising money and awareness for our local nonprofits during the 24-hour online giving challenge. We inspire people to give generously to nonprofits making our region stronger, creating a thriving community for all.
How it works
January
Registration Opens
Registration opens for Coastside Gives in early January!
We invite nonprofits with current 501c3 status from Montara to Pescadero to register today to be a part of the largest 24-hour fundraiser on the San Mateo County coast.
February
Planning
Registration closes in February and online planning meetings begin. Nonprofits work together to start planning and strategizing and planning for a successful giving day!
April
Giving Guide + Early Giving
Our Coastside Giving Guide will mailed to every household on the San Mateo Coast to inform the community of the work and accomplishments nonprofits provide from Montara to Pescadero and acknowledge the sponsors and businesses who support Coastside Gives.

Prize Grants Announced
Let the games begin! Every year we have a new set of prize grants offered to our participating nonprofits structured to encourage donating and enhance fundraising skills. Prizes are sponsored by the private donations of Friends of the Coastside and generous local businesses and foundations. The prizes are available to pre-registered nonprofits participating in Coastside Gives.
